Hello and wishing you all a wonderful year ahead. The last few months of 2025 were quite exciting with various happenings because 2025 ended marking 20 years of Eternus.
SCHOOL CLASSES
The children finished a couple of school revision tests of the state government’s question papers and moving towards their final exams. We have 8 students appearing for the Board exams, this time – 6 from std 12 and 2 from Std 10.. At the Eternus Centres, we monitor the studentss with continuous tests, corrections and feedback from our side to ease their exam preparation.
COLLEGE CLASSES
The students had their semester exams but we made use of every available opportunity to meet and continue our college class sessions. We focused on:
- writing practice, including brainstorming exercises and drafting discussion and opinion essays.
- PowerPoint presentations, where we concentrated on script writing.
- With the first-year students, we began basic lessons on MS Excel to build their foundational skills.
- Canva – designing layout, colour management and content development
School Parents Meetings
The School Parents Meeting is held every last Wednesday of each month. We get time to talk about the children, their performances and other various ways for their holistic development. We had ice breakers and fun sessions for parents as well. We discussed under the themes of “Dreams – Explore with the child” focusing on how parents need to travel along their child in achieving the dream
20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The Eternus 20th Anniversary Celebration was held on 21st December at Anita Methodist School This meaningful milestone was attended by our alumni, current students and their families, former staff members of Eternus, and our valued donors. We were delighted to welcome around 140 guests who joined us in commemorating this occasion.

We were honoured to have Ms. Shirley Zac, Principal of St. Thomas School and Ms. Joan Elango, former Principal of Anita Methodist School address the gathering, sharing heartfelt reflections on their longstanding relationship with Eternus. One of the parents spoke warmly about the impact Eternus has had on the lives of her two children who were part of the Eternus programme.

A special video presentation captured the memorable moments of the past 20 years, celebrating our growth and God’s faithfulness throughout the journey. Sadok, one of our alumni, also spoke about how Eternus helped transform his life.

The program featured two special performances—St. Thomas students presented a mime on the theme of phone addiction, and the Anita Methodist School students delighted the audience with an umbrella dance.

Former and current staff were recognized and felicitated with mementoes in appreciation of their dedicated service.

Christmas gifts were distributed to the children by the wives of our Board members.
We are filled with gratitude for 20 years of His guiding hand at work in and through Eternus.
TEEN’S CAMP
The camp was held between 27th and 29th of December '25 at Mahabalipuram. This year’s theme was ‘NEXUS’, focus on being connected with God. 17 students (12 from school, 5 from college) took part. A couple – Barnabas and Helen - who are involved in Marital Counselling and ministry among teens and youth, served as our resource people.

The camp had singing sessions, quiet time, devotion, experiential learning, group discussions,m movie time, testimonies, separate sessions for girls and boys, campfire, beach and swimming pool time.
The sessions focussed on the themes such as;

Identities

The children enjoyed their time, and many felt blessed throughout the camp. Many testified that they can change their lives and was happy they attended the camp.
We will be doing follow-up sessions for the participants across 2026.
