Vacation Bible School
Our VBS between the 17th and 20th of May. This year’s theme was ‘God will use you’. The resource team for the VBS were Mrs. Roselin, Ms. Keren Happuch and Mr. John Felix, Bethesda Prayer Ministries from Chennai.

There were total of 11 students who attended the VBS from both Anita Methodist and St. Thomas School. We had various events including action songs, activities, ice breakers, drama, puppet shows and missionary stories relating to the theme.

On the last day of VBS we held a talent time, where the the children performed skits based on what they learnt from the sessions. It was very meaningful, and the children came up with delightfully creative ideas to convey the message.
Online classes
During the holidays from April 14th till 3rd of June, we held online classes for our children via Zoom twice every day. In these sessions, we taught the basics and brushed up with English reading, comprehension, science, maps, Social Science and mathematics.
House Visits:
Our annual House Visit, where we spend some time in each house talking to the children and their parents, began on the 17th of April.
There were various experiences were brought out by the parents as well as the children. Few significant highlights from the visits were,
-Most of the parents found the Parent Workshop – “Navigating through Parental Challenges” very useful and productive .
-In almost all the visits, both spouses were present unlike last year where only the mothers were present along with their child.
- All the children said that they look forward to the Discovery classes. They enjoy playing together and the stories they hear.
- The students of class VIII, IX and X enjoyed the camp this year.
- The parents enjoyed the monthly Parents Meetings last year. Having them involve in games/ activities, talking with other parents and listening to the sessions has been something they enjoyed the most.
ETERNUS COLLEGE PROGRAMME
First-Year Students
Classes commenced in the first week of June. We began by orienting the students to the college program. Presently, we are focusing on developing their reading skills and PowerPoint presentations. The students have shown promising adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Second-Year Students are currently engaged in presentation work as part of their ongoing skill development.
College Placements
Ashwini C., who graduated this year (B.A. Corporate Economics from Women’s Christian College), has been placed at Auditics, Chennai, an audit firm, as a Process Associate. She started work on 1st July. After her father's passing, her family faced financial hardship, and she now testifies to God’s provision through this job opportunity.
Sandhya, an intern at MMM Hospital in the Dialysis Technology department, has successfully completed her college program. During her internship, she worked on a project studying the reasons for bone fractures among dialysis patients—an area of ongoing research at both MMM and MGM hospitals. Her contribution was well recognized, and she has now been included in the college’s research team.
Ishwarya, a BCA graduate from St. Patricians, who was also undergoing training in make-up artistry, has now started working at a beauty studio launched by her sister in Chennai. She seems to be thriving and enjoying this new chapter in her career.
