Parents workshop on financial management

We conducted a workshop on Financial management for the parents of our children from all three schools. It was held at a venue which was generously provided by one of our partner schools.
Worldvision India's Chennai office was gracious in providing two people from their Microfinance Dept. to interact with the parents on various aspects of debt management.
They gave an overview of how to manage finances and also had a one-on-one with each family to gauge their situation and offer them advice on how they could get out of their debts and manage their money.
The session was well attended and we received an encouraging response to the messages that were being given. Our experts have suggested that we give them this message of the need for financial prudence once every quarter to ensure that it has sufficient recall.
